For an additional fee, a background check can be requrested to verify identity, SSN (us citizens) claimed highest education, listed credentials, and public criminal records.
- Fourth, after a successful review, the consultant is approved for active membership and listed in the skills base for searching by approved clients. Should any questions arise from the screening, the consultant is given an opportunity to correct his submitted profile or dispute information.
- Consultants can control, with tools on their home page, whether and when their profile is included in the searchable list.

- Second, client firms are screened to ensure that they meet the criteria for using Validation Experts. These criteria include being an active pharmaceutical manufacturer, established consulting firm or research firm.
- Third, Validation Experts verifies with the applying client firm that the individual applying is an employee and is authorized to act on behalf of their employer.
- At any time after registration and approval, the client can search for consultants. To do this, they enter the desired consultant skills in both depth and breadth areas into the search form. The search then returns the best matches from the database up to the maximum number. The entire profile of each matched consultant is displayed for evaluation. The client can then contact Validation Experts for the the contact information of those consultants they would like to interview. They can save profiles for later review and delete those they are not interested in.
- Fees may apply for registration and for consultant contact information. These fees vary from time to time and are available on the web site.
